1. Did you know that the original composition by Ved Vyasa was first known as ‘Jaya’? A couple of his disciples later expanded the original work. It is the rendition by his disciple Ugrasrava which became popular as the Mahabharata.

 

2. While you do know that Vyasa was the author of the Mahabharata, were you aware of the fact that he was also the father of Pandu, Dhritarashtra and Vidura?!!
